Of course, if you want to fly IFR procedures that depend on the current airport layout, you will need to update your navdata as well. You are of course free to install any aftermarket add-on scenery of KLAS ontop of that, if you so desire, but that is not necessary to get the correct runways. So, unless for some reason you manually downloaded the outdated airport from the gateway, you are getting the 2018 correct runway layout in KLAS. Really, we should probably just remove the airport from the gateway website so that it doesn't confuse people. Arizona Orthophotos, elevation data, and overlays (roads, autogen, etc.) for X-Plane. That's why you are seeing the correct, 2018 runways, in X-Plane even though the gateway website will tell you otherwise. But it is not installed or not visible in X-Plane, because it is overridden by the Las Vegas scenery which includes both the city and the airport. Installer seems to crash or something just before it finishes. So when you go to the gateway website that airport might be out-of-date. I've tried the installer a few times and I've also tried just manually installing the scenery from the zip files that you can download from the email, to no avail. It is no longer the gateway airport that was shipped with older versions of X-Plane. The McCarran airport scenery that you see when you got to Las Vegas (on an out-of-the-box X-Plane 11.20 installation) is part of the Las Vegas landmark scenery (containing all the hotel and casino buildings) that is part of X-Plane. The scenery that gets shipped with 11.20 is correct and reflects the current 26/8 runway layout as of 2018.
